Running LiveOps Campaign

Aghanim LiveOps Campaign Builder is essentially a set of tools provided to game developers for creating and managing marketing strategies within their games. These can range from special offers, discounts on in-game items, to promotions designed to retain players and attract new ones. The Aghanim dashboard facilitates the creation and management of these campaigns, allowing developers to offer incentives and improve player engagement directly through the game interface.

You can manage campaigns in Aghanim Dashboard → LiveOps Builder.

Events triggering campaigns

When setting up a campaign, you need to select an event that will trigger the campaign. These events are categorized into two groups:

  • Player actions on your game hub, which Aghanim automatically identifies like Game Hub login, coupon redemption on the game hub, purchase on the game hub, etc.
  • Specific in-game events such as game login, in-game purchases, or other custom activities can trigger a campaign. To start this type of campaigns, you need to call the Aghanim API.

Campaign actions

Campaigns are customized through a selection of conditions and actions, allowing for nuanced control. Actions include:

  • Delay: introduces a wait time before proceeding with subsequent campaign actions.
  • A/B Test: randomly divides players into two groups for differentiated action paths.
  • Logic: establishes prerequisites for subsequent actions based on various criteria, such as a player's last purchase or recent game hub visit.
  • Custom Webhook: sends a custom webhook to a specified address
  • Send Email: sends an email to the player associated with the event triggered in the campaign.
  • Send Mobile App Push: sends a mobile push notification content via webhook.
  • Send Game Hub Push: initiates a push notification on the game hub.
  • Show Mobile App Popup: sends in-game popup content via webhook.
  • Show Game Hub Popup: triggers a popup on the game hub.
